This travelling exhibition is based on the previous ones held on the Malaspina 2010 project and presents the long Spanish tradition of scientific explorations from the sixteenth century onwards. It also shows the continuity in the development of marine science from its infancy, in the early twentieth century up to the most recent exploration by the Malaspina 2010 Expedition, as well as providing the first results of this project.
